Whistler BCWhistler is a world class all seasons destination resort that plays host to world cup downhill ski and snowboard events including freestyle and other genres.Whistler is approxiametly 2 hours driving time from Vancouver which does make it possible to stay in Vancouver and still enjoy skiing at Whistler. But I recommend that if you want to ski at Whistler you also stay at the resort because there is tons of accomodation choices and lots to do when you are done skiing for the day.
